A woman in Bay Park woke up Saturday morning and found someone slashed two tires on her minivan.

She says it's because she supports Prop 8 - the anti-gay marriage initiative. It happened on Hartford Street.

Susan Lopez says she was targeted because of the Yes On Prop 8 sign she has in her yard. She has this message for those behind the vandalism.

"I would just tell them that I'm sad that they're not as tolerant and loving as they expect everyone else to be. I would never interfere with somebody else's freedom of speech in that way," said Lopez.

Lopez says her tires were also slashed back in 2000, when she supported Prop 22, which kept same sex marriages from being recognized in California until this year.
